Jeff Conway died, damn...

Jeff Conway has died and that sucks. I googled him and most all of his recent photos have him looking close to death which I suppose was not far from the truth. Jeff passed away while he was in a coma so at least he went peacefully which is what we all hope for ourselves and our loved ones.

It's still not clear if he was a victim of a "accidental" overdose or if he succumbed to pneumonia as his good friend Dr. Drew has suggested. In any event, he will be missed. RIP Jeff.

I've been trying to watch Oprah this final season. Really Oprah works my last nerve. Just about everything about her bugs the ever loving shit out of me but I am trying. I was scrolling through my DVR and caught the episode of Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. Julia is another celebrity that does not impress me. She has a self entitled sense of herself and sometimes I just watch her so I won't miss her practiced horse laugh. I can never get enough of Julia opening her huge equine mouth and unhinging her jaw to bray at her own wittiness. But again, that's not why I am here.

Tom Hanks loves his wife, Rita Wilson and I find that refreshing. In this day of the Jesse James, Tiger Woods and Arnold Schwarzenegger's it pretty awesome to hear a guy speak lovingly about his wife of 23 years. When asked why he is still married to Rita, Hanks replies, "Because I am not an IDIOT!" Well said, Tom, well said.

Jeff Conway drug overdose in coma...

Bummer news but not surprising. Jeff Conway overdosed back on May 11th and has been in a coma since. His manager has suggested it was most likely pain pills that caused the overdose. I believe it. I watched Jeff on two episodes of Dr. Drew Celebrity Rehab and the dude had some serious demons, one of them being his jack wagon of a girlfriend, Vicki Lizzi. She liked him on drugs so she could share in them and keep him under her control. Wonder what she'll do if he doesn't make it? It's not like he had tons of money anymore, besides she wouldn't be entitled to any of it unless he put her in his will, which is possible.

I really loved Jeff on Taxi, he was so cool... hopefully he can pull through but I doubt it. So sad.
